One day, it's quiet on the train. Until two men join Kate. Kate sits on her phone and pays little attention to the pair. Until one of them starts talking to her. “Nice package uh Kate, isn't it?” Kate is shocked, but acts like she didn't hear anything. The guy won't give up. “Say Kate. You're flying all over the world, right? Aruba. New York. What else did I see on Instagram? Cool though. And your daughter will stay with grandma, right? ' Kate now looks up from her phone but says nothing. She looks around but sees that no one else is around. She's really starting to feel uncomfortable right now. The man continues. “Kate, wouldn't you be able to help us out from time to time? When you fly to Aruba again? Do you want to take anything for us that way? Very simple, fits easily into that briefcase of yours. '

In the end, the man forces Kate to smuggle money for him. She agrees because she feels she has no choice. With the pile of money in her suitcase, she leaves for work. But that's where she runs into a routine check. She can't explain how she gets the money and she knows, this is the end of story. Lost a job and who knows, maybe even imprisonment. And the worst part? She shouldn't think about reporting the man who gave her the money. How could she have prevented this?

Be careful what you share on social media

Of course, you should be proud to work at Schiphol. But be careful what you share on insta, facebook or other social media. For example, don't share photos of your airport access pass, work schedules, or sensitive information about your workplace. And think carefully about who you allow on your social media.
